The Red Cross has once again come under fire for a controversial move, and this one has Christians everywhere quite upset…rightfully so.
In a move that can only be interpreted as a complete cave to Islam, the Red Cross has ordered the removal of Christian Crucifixes from the walls of its locations in Belgium, Breitbart News reported. While the “charity” claims the move is to present a more secular appearance, it seems entirely centered around the fact that European nations have seen an increase in their Islamic populations, and, well, Muslims get offended at seeing symbols of other religions.
More from Breitbart:
The Belgian branches of the international aid organisation received an email from the Provincial Committee of the Red Cross in Liège to remove all crucifixes. André Rouffart, president of the Red Cross in Verviers, said: “We were asked to respect the principles of the Red Cross”, and not to distinguish between race or religious belief 7sur7 reports.
Mr. Rouffart said there had been pushback from volunteers and other members on the issue but downplayed the issue, saying: “I think it’s a storm in a teacup.”
Several volunteers spoke to Belgian broadcaster RTL and expressed hostility to the move, with one saying: “Let things remain as they are. We used to say ‘Christmas holidays’, now it’s ‘winter holidays’. The Christmas market in Brussels has become the ‘Winter Pleasures’.”
“For a certain part of the population — because of the Muslims — the crosses were removed in the Red Cross houses and, more particularly, in that of Verviers,” the volunteer added.

The order for removing the Crucifixes comes after the proposed removal of a Cross in France above a statue of St. John Paul II in Brittany sparked widespread outrage. In fact, people were so upset over the idea that both Poland and Hungary said they’d take the Cross instead of it being destroyed.
“After France orders cross removal, Hungarians ask: “Is everyone entitled to religious freedom except Christians?”

Of course, this isn’t the first time Christianity has come under attack in the hyper-politically correct nations of Europe. Just last week, we reported that the Church of Sweden had capitulated to the progressive left and adopted gender neutral terms when referring to God in their sermons.
When speaking of God, pastors are instructed to use phrases like “the Holy Trinity” rather than “the Father, Son and Holy Spirit,” and avoid other masculine terms when speaking about our Lord and Savior.
“We talk about Jesus Christ, but in a few places we have changed it to say ‘God’ instead of ‘he’,” Church of Sweden spokesperson Sofija Pedersen Videke told The Telegraph. “We have some prayer options that are more gender-neutral than others.”
“A wide majority of people decided on the book,” she said, adding that she had heard of no priests who objected to the new linguistic framework.
The Church of Sweden is headed by Archbishop Antje Jackelen, who was elected Sweden’s first female archbishop in 2013.
Archbishop Jackelen defended the decision, telling Sweden’s TT news agency: “Theologically, for instance, we know that God is beyond our gender determinations, God is not human.”
The defilement of God comes as the Church is attempting to “modernize” its handbook outlining how services should be conducted. However, not everyone in the Christian community is happy about the decision, and rightfully so.
Meanwhile, we’re repeatedly told that there’s no war on Christianity, and that Christians have nothing to fear from the progressive agenda, which seems to be aligned with the agenda of Salafist Muslims. However, as the evidence begins to mount, it appears that quite the opposite is true – progressives are trying to wipe Christianity off of the planet.
