Breitbart News editor Joel Pollak hit a nerve while sparring with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, while discussing the allegations against Roy Moore. On Tuesday night, Pollak brought up the racial discrimination case against the network and Cuomo lost his mind.
Pollak said, “You know, there are serious allegations right now against CNN. They happen to be allegations of racial discrimination. 175 plaintiffs in the next lawsuit that’s going to be filed, we’re told 205 plaintiffs — those are very serious allegations, do you think you work for a racist organization? Do you think you have to take those accusers at their word?”
“Nope. Nope, but there’s an ongoing litigation. We won’t have ongoing litigation here. So you have to make a decision about it. You can distract all you like. I’ll give you an A for effort, but what I’m saying is at the end of the day, either you’re worried about these kinds of signals, or you’re not,” Cuomo answered.
The network news channel’s alleged racial discrimination is “as abhorrent as all of the sexual harassment cases that are rightfully now being prosecuted,” Atlanta lawyer Daniel R. Meachum told Fox News. “Educated, well-intentioned, experienced and talented African-Americans are being discriminated against.”
Meachum said the new suit’s 205 accusers will be named in an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission action, and have a 90-day right-to-sue letter.
“My office has been contacted consistently from people who worked there… talking about the discrimination at CNN,” Meachum said. “95 percent” of the 205 people claim their discrimination occurred within the past four years.
“With the information that we have, and will get during discovery, I think we will be able to survive a motion for summary judgement. At that point, I think we will be victorious,” Meachum said.
This is the definition of irony. CNN desperately tries to portray President Donald Trump as a racist, and anyone who supports him is “complicit” in racism, while they are being sued for just that – racial discrimination.
